Describes 1,021 genera and contains the important index and Fragmenta methodi naturalis, which was not published in the first edition. In this Paris edition, French plant names have been added without Linnaeus' being consulted (see Stafleu and Cowan). Old owner's inscription 'Bouillet', on the title page, the two plates irregularly age-toned, otherwise a very good copy in an attractive contemporary binding. Soulsby, 299; Stafleu and Cowan, 4725.
