These catalogues list the malacological contents (world wide species) of the largest natural history museum in the Netherlands at the end of the 19th century. They belong to volume 13 of a series of systematical catalogues dealing with all groups preserved in the museum. The series was never completed, but this work is. The third part was issued much later, in 1908, and seldom included. it contains an index. The first two parts deal with gastropods only; the third also contained Polyplacophora. Other molluscan groups remained uncovered. The previous owner's name, Semmelink, on the front board. Boards a bit soiled and smudged; an inside tear to the firs four leaves; some spotting to the first part, otherwise a very good, clean set. Rare.
