A very important contribution to the Tertiary marine malacology of the Mediterranean, written by the Italian palaeontologists and malacologists Luigi Bellardi (1818-1889) – one of his earliest papers – and Giovanni Michelotti (1814-1898). With descriptions and excellent illustrations of many new species that are still valid today. Published in the academy's Memorie, Serie II, Volume III. A very good, clean copy. Rare. Neither in Nissen nor in Caprotti.
