A very rare, charming little book on medical plants by the French physician, naturalist, and botanist Pierre-Joseph Buc'hoz, or Buchoz (1731-1807). Perhaps a title edition or altered edition of the authors earlier (1768) " Médecine rurale et pratique". The "P. P." initials on the title is a printer's error. This herbal was printed by the Imprimerie Couret de Villeneuve in Orléans in 1780. Guettard signed the approbation on 10 Octobre 1780, the title is dated 1781. Boards rather rubbed, lower outer margins soiled and spotted, otherwise a very good, complete copy. Quérard, "La litterature Française" p. 552.
