A fine leaf of gold brocade, designed by the German artist Otto Hupp. Hupp (1859-1949) was a decorative (wall paper) designer, engraver, and etcher. This work he made for the firm of Meÿer & Seitz in Munich, known as "Münchener Gold- und Buntpapiere", and active around the turn of the 20th-century. This is one of seventy designs made by Hupp. A very good, clean copy. Hupp not recorded by Heijbroek and Greven.
