A fine copy of this beautifully illustrated regional flora of Siebenbürgen, now in Romania. Written by the German botanist, naturalist, conservationist and Darwinist Julius Paul Römer (1848-1926). Old owner's inscription in the top margin of the front free endpaper. Otherwise nearly "as new". Rare in this excellent condition. Stafleu and Cowan, 9411.
