The start of an important monograph on Jurassic marine fossils. This part dealing with ammonites. Largely written by the Czech palaeontologist Victor Karl Uhlig (1857-1911). Published in the famous series, Palaeontologia[NOT Palaeontologica] Indica, as part of Series XV. Himalayan Fossils, Vol. IV. Pages 133-134 in two states, the second containing corrections. Plates 49-76 in very good photostat. Lacking the text of the third fascicule. All parts are rare. Cat. BM(NH), p. 2161 (no details). Not in the Biodiversity Heritage Library.
