Cossmann, M. (ed.)
Revue Critique de Paléozoologie. Organe Trimestriel.
Paris, M. Cossmann, 1897-1912. 8vo (25.1 x 16.5 cm). In 35 issues (including five complete volumes). Original, uniform printed wrappers.
A rare periodical, on new publications and developments in palaeontology. An excellent source for finding more or less obscure papers in this field. The editor, Alexandre Édouard Maurice Cossmann (1850-1924) - he never used his first two names - is arguably the most important author on the Tertiary palaeontology of France. This set runs from Volume 2 to 16 (of 23). Four volumes, and nine loose issues are missing (if interested, please ask for details). Wrappers frayed and a bit chipped at edges; some gatherings loose; otherwise in very good condition. Cat. BM(NH) p. 388.
