Consolidated offprint. It deals with 369 species from an area situated on an important migratory path between Europe and Africa. The work is divided into 19 chapters, each with a specific date of publication. This is followed by a list of all the birds "likely to be seen in Southern Spain and on Gibraltar" recording British, Spanish, and Moorish names for each; and concluded with an index. Inscribed by a former owner on the front wrapper verso, The last five numbered leaves contain advertisements. Little is known about the author.
