[Cars]
Four illustrations of 1920's luxury cars.
[No place, no publisher, ca. 1925]. Four oblong sheets (ca. 12.5 x 28 cm), each with an illustration of a ca. 1920-1925 luxury cars, mounted on larger sheets (27.0 x 39.0 cm).
A nice set of detailed drawings of luxury cars from the early Roaring Twenties. The various designs, including two convertibles, are reminiscent of brands like Mercedes-Benz. One car model with additional caption "Type Hamburg", in pencil. We have been unable to determine the exact brand(s), probably because they represent special, custom-made coach designs, as often with top-range cars built before WWII. Age-toning and some light, scattered spotting to the cardboard sheets (outer edges lighter, indicating former framing). Colours lively and strong.
