Beijing, Science Press, 1981-1983. Four parts in four. 4to (26.0 x 18.7 cm). iv, 484, 20 pp.; 152 full colour plates, 13 text illustrations. Uniform printed softcovers.

A rarely seen complete set, including volume IV. It illustrates nearly all macroscopic moths known from China. Volume III has a separately numbered 24-page index in the rear, suggesting completeness with 2,810 species illustrated, but Part IV brings the species total to 3,111, and includes two new indices, with Chinese, respectively Latin names, and references to both page and species numbers. The full colour photos are excellent. A very good, clean, unmarked set.
