First monograph of the indigenous and imported plants of the famous 'flower' island, Capri, in the Mediterranean Sea opposite Naples. Written by the Italian botanist, Giuseppe Giacinto Moris (1796-1869), together with another Italian botanist (mycologist, bryologist) Giuseppe de Notaris (1805-1877). Both were also known by the French version of their first name, Joseph. Published in the academy's Memorie. An excellent, clean copy. Pritzel 6460; Stafleu and Cowan 6330.
