Six leaves, printed on both sides; with six illustrations, each present twice, one in fine, colourful pochoir printing, the other deliberately plain. Original wrappers, with a large, pochoir vignette and title on the front wrapper.

A how-to-colour-Art-Nouveau-style, with beautiful drawings of landscapes and flowers, by the French artist, Mademoiselle Émilie Jaillon, who is known to have made more such albums. All plain illustrations face their coloured counterpart, except the first, which has the coloured example on the last leaf verso. The wrappers are a bit larger than the other leaves, and show some marginal fraying and creasing, as well as a few very short tears. The other leaves are in perfect condition, unmarked, unused. Beautiful and rare.
