The Netherlands, ca. 1760? A rococo-style 18th-century silver miniature book (8.0 x 5.0 x 1.8 cm). Blank pages, marbled endpapers.
A beautiful little book with blank pages. With pastoral scenes on the front and rear cover, including a harvest, fishing putti, and ships and a town in the background. Polished. Two different silver marks (both on the front, and rear) unidentified, probably from a silver smith in the town of Schoonhoven, the Netherlands.
