A detailed and well-illustrated monograph, mainly on crustaceans and "Würmer" of the Norwegian fjord's, including many new or poorly known species. It includes one gastropod: the nudibranch, Doris candida, a species mysteriously lacking in MolluscaBase and WoRMS. Published in the academy's Nova Acta. The author, Martin Heinrich Rathke (1793-1860) was a German zoologist, marine biologist and embryologist. Text rather foxed throughout; plates foxed in the margins; a few plates with more extensive but light foxing. Very uncommon. Nissen ZBI, 3300.
