A rare, well preserved hand-painted engraving of a beautiful South American capuchin monkey, the blond or Marcgrave capuchin, which occurs in Brazil. it was rediscovered in 2006 after being thought to be extinct. This print in excellent condition. Very faint occasional spotting. Frayed at left hand side edge. No creases, dents or tears present. Nissen ZBI, 3021; Sabin, 57457.
