A classic Dutch pictorial book on dogs and hounds. The illustrations are of individual, often named, dogs - not of general types or breeds. The captions state the name of both the dog(s) and their owner and residence. Written by the Dutch dog expert (kynologist, cynologist) Henri Adrien Graaf van Bylandt (1860-1943). Boards a bit rubbed and soiled, the binding a bit shaky, edges slightly worn. In all a very good copy of this uncommon work.
