London, Zoological Society of London, 1881. Large 4to (32.0 x 25.4 cm). 14 pp., three fine hand-coloured lithographed plates by Moore. No wrappers.

With descriptions of new species and genera. One plate depicts caterpillars, the others adult butterflies. The author, the British entomologist Frederic Moore (1830-1907) was also an illustrator. He wrote several works on Indian entomology, including a Lepidoptera Indica in six volumes. The plates of the present paper are signed F. C. Moore, the author's son. Very well illustrated with fine colouring, augmented with gum arabic in appropriate places. Uncut. A very good copy. Rare. Horn-Schenkling II(3), p. p. 128.
