The rare first numbers of a chiefly entomological bimonthly, being the successor to another seldom-seen periodical, Les Petites Nouvelles Entomologiques. Indeed, entomology, in addition to malacology, is well-represented (for example, C. F. Ancey and Albert Granger are main contributors). Pagination and issue-numbering is consecutive throughout. The journal contains descriptions of many new species and is a good source for obituaries and publication records. Issue 66 is an index, and is treated as a single volume, though spread over three years. Some issues with stamp remnants (for being sent in the mail), otherwise in very good condition Cat.
