Oslo, Oslo University Press, 1963. 8vo (26.7 x 17.6 cm). 171 pp.; 45 text figures, 22 plates (double). Original stiff printed wrappers.

A rarely seen paper by the Norwegian palaeontologist Leif Størmer (1905-1979). Dedication copy, with the author's handwritten dedication to the French palaeontologist Pierre Hupé (1907-2003) on the front wrapper. A neat stamp on the front wrapper states: Contributions from the Institute of Geology University of Oslo, Norway. This is also Skrifter utgitt av Det Norske Videnskaps-Akademi i Oslo I. Mat.-Naturv. Klasse. Ny Serie. No. 8. For some reason, an extra, stapled copy of the complete plate section is loosely inserted. It does make comparing text and illustrations more easy. Also, with a summary in Russian. A very good copy.
