The calculations have been recently made, and afterwards compared with the tables of Callet, Hutton, Vega, Briggs, Gardiner, Taylor, and Babbage. To which is added, an account of the origin, nature and use; and their application to several subjects to which they appertain. Also, an index, containing tables of trigonometrical formulae, (the notation entirely new and simple.)
