A very rare work by an unknown author. The work offers a systematic account of minerals. The plate shows crystal-forms. A long quote by Pliny is printed on the title page verso. The name "Dr. J. [?] Rehmann" [possibly the Austrian (Viennese - later Russian) medical doctor Joseph von Rehmann (1779-1831) inscribed, in an old hand, on the front wrapper verso; a with a weak old stamp on the title page verso. We know of one other copy, in the Österreichische Nationalbiblothek (Austrian national library). Neither in Sinkankas nor in Ward and Carozzi.
