This is the translation, with new illustrations, by Arthur Stanton. We offer the complete volume 53 with 664 pp., and numerous figures, and several other papers with new discoveries and applications based on the discovery of X-rays, or Röntgen rays. The first announcement is to be found on p. 253 (16 January, 1896). The translation, with illustrations,by Arthur Stanton is on pp. 274-276 (23 January, 1896), directly followed by a paper by A. A. C. Swinton, who repeated Röntgen's experiments successfully. The original German text was published in 1895 in the Sitzungsberichte der physichen-medicinischen Gesellschaft in Würzburg. Overall this is a very good copy in a contemporary binding. See Garrison-Morton, 2683; Horblit no. 90; PMM, 380 (for the original German edition).
