A anthropological study on several tribes (then) living in the most northern part of Argentina by the German medical doctor anthropologist, and ethnographer Robert Lehmann-Nitsche (1872-1938), for a long time the director of the Anthropology division of the Museo de la Plata. The plates contain photographs of various people. Published in the museum's Anales, being part of the Resultatos generales de la expedición á Jujuy realizada en 1906. Unmarked, uncut. Front wrapper lacking, some chipping and fraying to first leaf and edges of the last plates, otherwise a very good copy. Rare.
