A finely illustrated work, with text and drawings by the German painter Ludwig Hans Fischer (1848-1915) "He was noted for his paintings of Oriental subjects, especially African and Indian women wearing traditional costume." (Wikipedia). Contained in the Annalen of the K. K. naturhistorische Hofmuseum, together with two papers on insects (wasps), the flora of Madagascar, and on a meteorite. A very good, clean copy. Rare, especially in this state.
