Published by the Dutch Meteorological Office, this work covers two years of meteorological observations in various places in the Netherlands, and other European localities. The first volume including the meteorology of Indonesia (Palembang) between 1850 and 1856. Numerous data are presented in tables, the general conclusions are written in Dutch. A work like this, with numerous factual data, remains important in view of current climatological theories. Small cancelled blindstamp on the title pages; otherwise, a very good copy.
