For those who do not have this work, this is the copy to have, as it is fairly common in original wrappers, or parts thereof, but very seldom found in a solid binding. Moreover, this copy has a loose leaf inserted, with, in autotype print, handwritten corrigenda et addenda, signed by the author, the Austrian malacologist Rudolf Sturany (1867-1935), and dated Wien, 30 November 1898. This very useful addition was, apparently, never printed. Provenance: stamp of the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020) in the top margin of the front free endpaper and front wrapper. Otherwise, a fine, clean copy.
