A seldom-seen contribution to the Austrian (Alpine) Mesozoic malacofauna, in particular ammonites, but also on brachiopods, gastropods, and scaphopods, including several species described as new. Well illustrated. Written by the German palaeontologist Robert Schnetzer, and published in the series, Palaeontographica, Volume 81 (A), of which this is a repaginated offprint. Inscribed by the author on the front wrapper to Professor [Franz?] Rölbl. Further provenance: Inscribed on the front wrapper by the Austrian geologist Alexander Tollmann (1928-2007). Title in script on the spine. A very good copy.
