These three volumes contain many well-illustrated malacological-palaeontological papers based upon Mesozoic and Palaeozoic (Ordovician, Silurian and Devonian) marine fossils collected in the Himalayas. It includes the descriptions of new species and genera of Mesozoic bivalves and gastropods, and Carboniferous, Permian, Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous ammonites and several other groups, e.g., Foraminifera, Radiolaria, Brachiopoda, Echinodermata, conodonts, etc. In Chinese, but with English contents leaves tipped in. Some light wear and creasing to the wrappers, stamp on the first blank of Vol. I; otherwise a very good set.
