A rare commentary on Linnaeus' 12th edition of the Systema Naturae ( Plantae) written by the Swedish botanist and zoologist Anders Jahan Retzius (1742-1821), who corresponded with Linnaeus. However this work was published anonymously. There are four page numbers on each leaf in the systematical section. Some old pencil ticks in the text, Japanese paper repair to the spine, otherwise a very good copy. Soulsby, 83; Stafleu and Cowan, 9084.
