Second Russian edition of Pavlov's work on the digestive glands, which earned him the Nobel Prize in 1904, and one of the most important books in neurobiology. The first edition was published in 1897. Even this second edition is now extremely difficult to find. Old ex-owners signature and private stamp on front cover and title page, and some text page margins; small paper label pasted on front cover.
