Rare edition of the S uites à Buffon, first published in the early 19th century and here in the last edition corrected by Latreille. In fact, Latreille wrote most of it, as Sonnini was responsible only for the part on amphibians and the preliminary discourse (Adler). The plate order is erratic but all plates are close to the relevant descriptive text pages. Volume 1 contains plates 1, 3, 2, 4-10, 15, 11-13; volume 2: 14, 16-20, 48-51, 41-47, 52-54; vol. 3: 39, 23, 38, 40, 24-25; vol. 4: 26-33, 35, 34, 36-37, 21-22.
