The complete work, including an addenda leaf, with three additional titles published during or after editing and printing of the main part. Uncut. The frontispiece shows the British surgeon and antiquary, Thomas Joseph Pettigrew (1791-1865), who was the first to write and publish a monograph on mummification. Published as the institute's entire Mémoires, Volume 13. Wrapper's lower and fore edges a bit chipped and with short tears. The work itself, on much better paper, clean, unmarked.
